Key components such as Anthos Config Management were discussed, illustrating how they enable policy management and multi-cluster operations with simplicity and governance via GitOps and Policy Controller features.

This approach not only enhances application modernization but also bolsters security and operational efficiency.
Istvan “Perez” Kovacs, CTO of Recart, shared their transformative journey implementing FinOps principles to optimize cloud costs effectively. Perez detailed steps such as eradicating orphaned resources, re-negotiating contracts, and transitioning from spot to reserved instances which collectively saved the company significant expenses. Moreover, embedding cost considerations into technical designs has become a cornerstone of their strategy, ensuring that every architectural decision supports both operational needs and financial health.
