What is it to be an office manager?  Well… be a person who can do multitasking, who is always there where it’s needed, who knows everything and cares about everybody. Yes, we are the people behind the table ALWAYS surrounded by uncountable sheets of paper, tirelessly hanging on the phone, sending no end of e-mails, or pacing up&down to control the team and the office, but these papers and phone calls are the ones that make the system work and make the colleagues happy. We are teachers, psychologists, friends, support team, parents and masterminds at the same time.
Not easy but we love it!

That’s why lots of these people attended at Office Managers’ Chit-Chat at our IseeQ office within the confines of Startup Safary Budapest.

I thought that a great community for us is really missing so I decided to build a network in Budapest to gather people with similar interest and scope of activities. It’s important to support each other, share our experience and organize events that are especially dedicated for us to strengthen the feeling of inherence within office life. We really need a community where any office-related question could be answered.

The ultimate goal is to set up a convergent team, first of all locally in Budapest then on an international level, I hope. I would be happy to stage workshops, meetups, office visits, and also easier parties like collective breakfasts or outdoor chit-chats. Occasions like these are perfect to put office professionals in touch with each other in an informal medium out of the office.

I would like to reach that tips&tricks, ideas, Q&As be easily shared within an office-related group where the members could feel themselves at home.
